Stock Associate

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and efficient Stock Associate to join their retail team in Randburg . You will be responsible for managing inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the stockroom and sales floor. This role is fundamental to ensuring products are available and presented attractively to customers. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and works well in a team environment. You will contribute to the smooth running of daily store operations, ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience by finding the items they need readily available in Randburg .

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and process incoming shipments of merchandise.
• Stock shelves, racks, and displays with merchandise according to planograms and store standards.
• Organize and maintain the stockroom, ensuring it is clean, safe, and efficient.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist customers on the sales floor with locating products and answering basic inquiries.
• Remove damaged or expired merchandise and process it according to store procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
