About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and self-sufficient Field Service Technician to provide remote support and, when necessary, on-site technical assistance to clients across various regions. This role is designed for an individual who excels at troubleshooting complex technical issues independently and can effectively guide clients through diagnostic and repair processes via remote communication channels. You will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving technical challenges efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our service operations from a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for complex equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues reported by customers.
- Guide customers through installation, configuration, and maintenance procedures remotely.
- Maintain detailed service records and document all troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to upscale resolve complex technical problems.
- Onboard new clients and provide them with necessary technical guidance and training.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical support role.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with remote access and diagnostic tools is essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- A background in installation and maintenance services is highly desirable.
