Frontend Developer - UI Focus

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Frontend Developer with a strong focus on UI development to join their innovative team in Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This role is crucial in translating design concepts into high-quality, interactive user interfaces for web applications. You will work closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to create seamless and visually appealing user experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy responsive and performant user interfaces using modern frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement user-facing features based on designs provided by the UI/UX team, ensuring a pixel-perfect translation of mockups.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend code with server-side logic and APIs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, implementing effective solutions to enhance user experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of UI-focused projects.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (including modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and the ability to work effectively with design teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating intuitive and beautiful user interfaces.
