About the Role

Our client is searching for an experienced Operations Lead specializing in Logistics to manage their operations in Polokwane . This role requires a hands-on leader responsible for the efficient planning, execution, and supervision of all logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control. You will play a crucial part in streamlining the supply chain, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining cost-effectiveness. This is a key position to optimize logistical operations within the Limpopo province.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and stock accuracy.
• Develop and implement optimized transportation routes and schedules to meet delivery targets.
• Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance in Polokwane.
• Monitor logistics performance using key metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics and supply chain operations, with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage transportation, warehousing, and inventory effectively.
• Strong understanding of logistics software and tracking systems.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with specific knowledge of the Limpopo region's logistics infrastructure.
