REQUIREMENTS: - Relevant nursing degree or diploma - Post-basic qualification in Trauma\/Emergency Nursing - Minimum 5 years'' nursing experience, including significant trauma\/emergency exposure - Minimum 2 years'' supervisory or emergency nursing management experience - Current, valid SANC registration - Strong clinical judgement, leadership capability and the ability to perform under pressure Private hospital experience and additional qualifications in healthcare management or nursing administration will be advantageous. KEY FOCUS AREAS • Lead, support and develop the Trauma & Emergency nursing team. • Oversee safe, timely and patient-centred emergency care. • Drive clinical governance, quality assurance, infection prevention and regulatory compliance. • Manage staffing, equipment, resources and departmental operations effectively. • Build strong working relationships with doctors and multidisciplinary teams. • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous clinical improvement.
