Job Overview

A well-established outdoor accessories business is seeking a creative, energetic and hands-on Social Media & Content Creator to manage its social media presence and produce engaging digital content. The ideal candidate must be passionate about social media, photography, video creation and current digital trends, with the ability to turn everyday business activities, products, vehicles and installations into compelling content that attracts customers and generates sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts.
• Photograph vehicles, products and completed installations.
• Film and edit Reels, TikToks, product demonstrations and behind-the-scenes videos.
• Create engaging content, promotional graphics and marketing material using Canva or similar software.
• Write captions, plan content calendars and schedule regular posts.
• Assist with Facebook and Instagram advertising, boosted posts and Google Ads campaigns.
• Monitor engagement, reach and campaign performance, identifying opportunities to generate enquiries and sales.
• Stay up to date with social media trends and proactively develop new content ideas.

Minimum Requirements

• Excellent understanding of Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
• Strong photography, video filming and editing skills.
• Experience creating Reels and short-form video content.
• Proficiency in Canva or similar graphic-design software.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
• Creative, proactive, organised and able to work independently.
• A hands-on approach with the confidence to film content on-site and take initiative.

Advantageous

• Experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads.
• Knowledge of CapCut or similar video-editing software.
• WordPress/WooCommerce experience.
• Previous automotive or aftermarket-accessories industry experience.
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics.
• Own reliable transport.
