About the Role

Our client, a key industrial manufacturer located in Vereeniging , requires a skilled and certified Welder . This role is fundamental to the construction, repair, and maintenance of various metal structures and equipment used in their production processes. You will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations according to precise specifications, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a tradesperson to contribute their expertise to critical manufacturing operations within the Gauteng region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on different types of metals.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints , diagrams, and specifications.
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding, including cleaning and grinding.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of welds, meeting all industry standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and site procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Certified Welder with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in multiple welding techniques and certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols .
• Good understanding of metallurgy and material properties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in various site conditions.
