About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join their quality assurance team, operating in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for web and mobile applications.
• Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand feature requirements and identify potential quality risks.
• Report, track, and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Advocate for quality best practices across the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, crucial for a remote role.
