About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Regional Distribution Driver to join their expanding operations in Polokwane . This role is vital for ensuring the efficient distribution of products across the Limpopo province. You will be responsible for collecting goods from distribution hubs and delivering them to various business locations, maintaining high standards of service and vehicle care. The successful candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong understanding of logistics, and the ability to manage routes effectively to meet demanding schedules. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a key logistics function in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a delivery vehicle to transport and distribute goods across the Polokwane region and surrounding areas.
• Load and unload merchandise safely and efficiently, ensuring goods are properly handled.
• Plan daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet scheduled timeframes.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe and operational condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and promptly report any issues or delays.
• Provide professional and courteous service to all clients during deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 Driver's License with a current Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar delivery or distribution role.
• Good knowledge of the road networks within Polokwane and the Limpopo province.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks.
• Clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
