About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort & Spa Manager to lead operations at their luxury beachfront property in Mossel Bay. This role demands a leader passionate about delivering unparalleled guest experiences, managing diverse teams, and ensuring the highest standards of service across the resort and its spa facilities. You will be instrumental in driving profitability, maintaining operational excellence, and fostering a positive and productive environment for both guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury hospitality management and a proven ability to oversee complex operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including accommodation, food and beverage, and recreational activities.
• Manage the strategic direction and daily operations of the spa and wellness facilities, ensuring exceptional client experiences.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, revenue, and profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of staff across various departments.
• Maintain rigorous standards for cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the resort.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions and packages to drive business growth.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a senior management role within the luxury resort or hotel industry.
• Demonstrated success in managing spa operations and a strong understanding of wellness trends.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue.
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations, human resources, and customer service excellence.
