Position Overview
A reputable employer is seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join their team. The ideal candidate will have practical plumbing experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to carry out installations, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard. The successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as within a team while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair water supply systems, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
• Identify and diagnose plumbing faults, leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes.
• Install and repair pipes, taps, toilets, basins, showers, geysers, and other plumbing equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, plans, and specifications where required.
• Test plumbing systems to ensure proper operation and identify potential issues.
• Perform pipe fitting, cutting, joining, and sealing in accordance with industry standards.
• Respond to plumbing maintenance requests and resolve problems efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing regulations, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organised condition.
• Identify materials and equipment required for plumbing jobs and report shortages where necessary.
• Provide professional service and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plumber.
• Relevant plumbing qualification or trade test will be advantageous.
• Good knowledge of plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Ability to identify faults and troubleshoot plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
