Warehouse and Dispatch Clerk

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient Warehouse and Dispatch Clerk to join their operations in Pretoria . This role is essential for managing the flow of goods within the warehouse, accurately preparing orders for dispatch, and ensuring all shipments leave on time and correctly documented. You will be instrumental in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the logistics team in delivering exceptional service to clients across Gauteng . The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Generate and verify dispatch notes, invoices, and other required shipping documentation.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure timely pickups and efficient loading of vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or dispatch role.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capability to lift and move packages as needed.
