Junior Electrical Engineer - Power Distribution

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and planning of electrical distribution systems, including substations and overhead/underground lines.
• Support the development of single-line diagrams, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Conduct field inspections and site assessments to gather data for design and maintenance activities.
• Participate in the commissioning and testing of new distribution equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical faults and outages within the distribution network.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to project activities and system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of power distribution principles, equipment, and standards.
• Familiarity with electrical design software and CAD tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to various work sites as required.
