About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Construction Project Lead to join their expanding team in Tembisa. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating various construction activities, ensuring seamless execution of projects. You will be instrumental in supervising site personnel, managing timelines, and ensuring that all work is completed safely and to specification. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to take ownership of project phases and contribute to the successful delivery of quality construction outcomes in the Gauteng area.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Manage the procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment to the site.
• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve design and construction issues.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety records.
• Mentor and guide junior site staff and construction workers to foster a productive team environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or Project Lead, with a strong understanding of building processes.
• A relevant qualification in Construction Management or a related technical field is preferred.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Gauteng.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
