About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and strategic Operations Planning Manager to join their team in Port Elizabeth . You will be responsible for forecasting demand, developing production schedules, and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely execution. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive operational plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment and smooth workflow.
• Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast demand and optimize resource allocation.
• Identify potential operational risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
• Monitor operational performance against plans and recommend adjustments as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations planning , production planning, or demand forecasting.
• Proficiency in planning software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in developing and implementing operational KPIs.
