About the Role

Our client is seeking a vibrant and experienced Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom at their renowned educational center in Mossel Bay . This role involves developing and delivering an engaging, play-based curriculum that fosters cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in young children. You will create a welcoming and stimulating learning environment, manage classroom dynamics, and build strong relationships with students and their families. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive, age-appropriate preschool curriculum aligned with educational standards.
• Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
• Assess children's developmental progress through observation, documentation, and portfolios.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents regarding their child's academic and social-emotional development.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and promote positive social interactions among children.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational program.

Requirements

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., Post Graduate Certificate in Education) with a specialization in early childhood.
• Proven experience as a preschool or kindergarten teacher.
• In-depth knowledge of child development theories and pedagogical approaches.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
