About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Portfolio Manager to lead their equity investment strategies based in Mahikeng . In this senior role, you will be responsible for developing and executing investment strategies, managing a portfolio of equities, and aiming to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns for clients. You will conduct in-depth market research, analyze company fundamentals, and make informed investment decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies for equity portfolios aligned with client objectives.
• Conduct fundamental analysis of companies, industries, and macroeconomic trends.
• Make buy, sell, and hold decisions based on rigorous research and market outlook.
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposure, and adherence to investment guidelines.
• Communicate investment strategies, performance, and outlook to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with research analysts to identify investment opportunities and risks.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA designation highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in investment management, portfolio management, or equity research.
• Proven track record of managing equity portfolios and delivering strong risk-adjusted returns.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
