About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and results-oriented Head of Operations for the Africa Region . This senior leadership role demands a strategic vision and hands‑on approach to managing and scaling operations across diverse markets within the continent. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving growth, and leading a team of regional managers to achieve ambitious targets. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of African markets and a proven ability to navigate complex operational landscapes to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the operational strategy for the Africa Region , driving business growth and market penetration.
• Lead and mentor a team of country and regional operations managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee all aspects of operations, including supply chain, logistics, customer service, and quality control.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, government bodies, and stakeholders across the region.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations management, with significant experience in the African market .
• Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple countries or regions.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and market dynamics in Africa.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
