Vacancy Information

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the electrical engineering scope on complex industrial, energy, and mission-critical projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, oversee technical design activities, and support projects from concept development through detailed engineering and execution.

You will play a key role in delivering reliable, sustainable, and future-proof electrical solutions while working closely with clients, project managers, and engineering disciplines. In addition to technical leadership, you will mentor engineers, ensure design quality, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact projects across a range of sectors, including energy, industrial facilities, substations, and data centres.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Develop and review electrical system designs throughout all project phases.
• Design and engineer high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Prepare and review single-line diagrams, protection philosophies, cable calculations, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, and auxiliary system designs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Lead technical reviews and provide guidance to electrical engineers and designers.
• Support project planning, budgeting, risk management, and quality assurance activities.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and control engineering disciplines.
• Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, and design reviews.
• Support tendering, proposal preparation, and technical bid evaluations where required.
• Contribute to sustainable energy solutions, grid integration, electrification initiatives, renewable energy projects, and future-proof electrical infrastructure.

What You Need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical engineering projects.
• Previous experience as a Lead Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer, or Technical Lead.
• Experience with industrial facilities, energy infrastructure, substations, power generation, renewable energy, or data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Experience with power distribution, protection systems, and electrical design calculations.
• Familiarity with international electrical standards and engineering best practices.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary EPC, engineering consultancy, or industrial project environments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor engineers and coordinate technical teams.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
