SAQ Manager

The client is looking for an SAQ Manager to work a 3 month rolling contract based in South Africa (Johannesburg).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end Site Acquisition (SAQ) process.
• Follow up on NTPs, landlord approvals, site access, lease agreements, permits, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with MTN, IHS, Sentech, Eskom, landlords, municipalities, and other third parties.
• Arrange and confirm site access for survey, installation, commissioning, and acceptance activities.
• Ensure access is confirmed before teams are dispatched to site.
• Maintain and update the SAQ/access tracker and provide regular progress updates.
• Identify and escalate delays, risks, and dependencies affecting project delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams including MW, RAN, Design, Construction, BO, and Project Management.
• Support resolution of landlord, access, lease, and approval-related issues.
• Ensure SAQ activities are completed according to project timelines and customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Property, Real Estate, Town Planning, Project Management, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Experience in telecom site acquisition, SAQ, landlord management, or site access coordination.
• Experience with MTN, IHS, Sentech, Eskom, tower companies, or similar infrastructure providers is an advantage.
• Good understanding of NTP, lease agreements, site access, and third-party approval processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Able to manage multiple sites and work under pressure.
• Good Excel and reporting skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required.
