DeFi Product Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and strategic DeFi Product Manager to join their dynamic team in Klerksdorp . This hybrid role involves leading the product lifecycle for decentralized finance (DeFi) products, from conception and strategy to launch and iteration. You will work at the intersection of finance, technology, and user experience, defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and collaborating with engineering, design, and marketing teams. Your deep understanding of the DeFi ecosystem and user needs will be critical in driving the success of our client's decentralized financial offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for DeFi products.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify product opportunities.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
• Prioritize product features and backlog based on strategic impact and user value.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and legal teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and drive product improvements and iterations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a strong focus on Decentralized Finance (DeFi) products.
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, concepts (e.g., AMMs, lending protocols, yield farming), and market dynamics.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Klerksdorp .
