About the Role

You will be involved in evaluating flight data, developing performance models, and providing recommendations to improve efficiency, safety, and operational capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze flight data to assess and monitor aircraft performance characteristics.
• Develop and validate performance models for various aircraft types and operational conditions.
• Provide technical expertise on aerodynamic efficiency, fuel optimization, and flight envelope limitations.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and operations teams to implement performance improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations detailing performance analysis and recommendations.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in aircraft performance engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft performance analysis or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, flight mechanics, and propulsion systems.
• Proficiency with performance analysis software, simulation tools, and data processing techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in Randburg.
