Remote Civil Engineer - Structural Design Lead

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process for a variety of projects, ensuring high standards of technical excellence.
• Oversee and mentor a distributed team of structural engineers, fostering collaboration and skill development.
• Conduct advanced structural analysis and design, including seismic and dynamic load considerations.
• Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and specifications submitted by the team.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project coordination.
• Implement and promote best practices in structural engineering and project management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering .
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design and project leadership.
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing project lifecycles.
• Expert proficiency in advanced structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Revit Structure).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and remote collaboration skills.
