Lead Information Security Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Lead Information Security Architect to join their entirely remote team. This senior role involves designing, building, and maintaining the organization's overall security architecture, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and aligned with strategic business objectives. You will be at the forefront of defining security standards, evaluating new technologies, and guiding the implementation of comprehensive security solutions to protect against advanced persistent threats. Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the implementation of a secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise security architecture.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive security blueprints, standards, and guidelines across all technology domains.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to address emerging threats and business needs.
• Lead security architecture reviews for major projects and initiatives, ensuring security-by-design principles are applied.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, application development, and risk management, to integrate security effectively.
• Provide expert guidance on complex security challenges and develop strategic roadmaps for security enhancements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a security architecture or lead architect role.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing security solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), networks, and endpoints.
• Deep understanding of threat modeling, risk assessment methodologies, and security frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
