Professional Development Coordinator

Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organized Professional Development Coordinator to facilitate continuous learning and skill enhancement for staff in Nelspruit . This role is essential in designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive professional development program that supports employee growth and organizational objectives. You will work closely with various departments to identify training needs, source appropriate resources, and ensure the effective delivery of development opportunities, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and expertise within the workforce, and utilizing a blend of in-person and online delivery methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and deliver professional development programs and workshops for staff.
• Identify training needs through surveys, consultations with department heads, and performance reviews.
• Source and manage external training providers and resources to supplement internal offerings.
• Maintain records of training activities, employee participation, and program effectiveness.
• Evaluate the impact of professional development initiatives on employee performance and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in coordinating or managing training and development programs.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing logistics for both in-person and virtual training sessions in Nelspruit.
