Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain
About the Role
Our client is seeking a specialized Industrial Engineer with expertise in supply chain and logistics to join their remote team. This role is dedicated to optimizing the entire supply chain network, from procurement to final delivery, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will leverage advanced analytical techniques and modeling tools to redesign and improve supply chain operations, inventory management, and distribution strategies. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere, collaborating digitally with teams across different locations. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, including logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the speed of the supply chain.
- Utilize simulation and modeling software to test and validate proposed supply chain improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations and report on findings and recommendations.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience focused on supply chain and logistics engineering.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, optimization techniques, and forecasting models.
- Proficiency in supply chain simulation software, WMS/TMS systems, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for a remote environment.
- Proven ability to manage projects and drive change effectively within a dispersed team.
