Our client is looking for a dynamic Courier Driver to perform express deliveries in and around Welkom . This role is vital for ensuring rapid and secure transportation of packages for a diverse client base. The ideal candidate is adept at navigating urban environments, managing time effectively to meet tight deadlines, and providing excellent customer service during each interaction. As a key player in the local Driving & Transport network, you will contribute to the company's reputation for speed and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver packages promptly to customers and businesses within the assigned routes.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Utilize GPS and navigation tools to plan the most efficient delivery routes.
• Ensure the security and integrity of all packages handled.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary customer signatures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.

Requirements

• Valid South African driver's license (Code 8 or higher) with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is highly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of the Welkom area and surrounding districts.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict delivery deadlines.
