About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Barber and Men's Grooming Specialist to join their sophisticated grooming lounge in Randburg . This role is for an individual with a passion for classic and contemporary barbering techniques, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for providing a premium grooming experience for male clients, encompassing precision haircuts, beard trims, shaves, and offering advice on grooming products. As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to maintaining the lounge's high standards and exceptional client satisfaction, working in a refined and masculine environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform precision haircuts, fades, tapers, and styles according to client preferences and current trends.
• Provide expert beard shaping, trimming, and detailed hot towel shaves.
• Consult with clients to understand their grooming needs, hair type, and desired look.
• Recommend and sell high-quality men's grooming products, educating clients on their use.
• Maintain a meticulously clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all health and safety standards.
• Stay updated on the latest barbering techniques, trends, and grooming product innovations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed Barber.
• Proven expertise in a wide range of barbering techniques, including fades, tapers, and scissor-over-comb.
• Experience with traditional hot towel shaves and beard grooming.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• A strong understanding of men's hair types and textures.
• A passion for the art of barbering and men's grooming.
