About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Driver specializing in Bulk Haulage for their operations based in Mahikeng . This role is essential for the transportation of bulk materials such as grains, minerals, or liquids across various industrial sites. You will be responsible for operating large trucks and trailers safely and efficiently, managing your routes, and ensuring the timely delivery of bulk cargo. The ideal candidate is proficient in handling large vehicles, understands bulk transport regulations, and is committed to operational excellence in the North West province.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate large commercial trucks and tankers for bulk material transportation.
• Safely load and unload bulk goods according to specific handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations pertaining to bulk haulage, including weight restrictions and hazardous materials protocols if applicable.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and ensure it is in optimal working condition.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and site personnel.

Requirements

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with an active PDP.
• Proven experience in bulk haulage operations or heavy vehicle transport.
• Experience operating specialized bulk transport vehicles (e.g., tankers, tippers).
• Knowledge of safety regulations for bulk cargo transportation.
• Excellent driving record and ability to pass rigorous background checks.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work extended hours when required.
