About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Property Valuer to join their dynamic team in Midrand. This pivotal role involves conducting comprehensive valuations of diverse commercial, industrial, and residential properties across Gauteng. You will play a critical role in providing accurate and reliable property valuations that inform investment decisions, financial reporting, and market analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed physical inspections and assessments of various property types, including commercial, industrial, and residential assets in Midrand and surrounding areas.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate property valuation reports adhering to industry standards and legal requirements.
• Analyze market trends, comparable sales data, and economic factors to determine property values.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and present valuation findings.
• Provide expert advice on property investment, development potential, and market positioning.
• Mentor and guide junior valuers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the valuation team.

Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Property Studies, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Property Valuer , with a strong track record in the Gauteng market.
• Professional designation or registration with a recognized valuation body (e.g., SACVP, SAPOA).
• In-depth knowledge of South African property law, valuation principles, and market dynamics.
• Proficiency in using valuation software and standard office productivity suites.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
