About the Role

Our client, a leader in the Arts & Entertainment sector, is seeking a talented Video Editor to join their remote team. You will be responsible for crafting compelling promotional videos for various entertainment properties, translating creative briefs into visually engaging content that captures audience attention. This fully remote position requires a strong sense of storytelling, impeccable editing skills, and a deep understanding of pacing, music, and sound design. You will work closely with marketing and content teams to produce high-quality video assets that drive engagement and promote upcoming releases and events. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to exciting projects within the entertainment industry .

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging promotional videos for film, TV, music, and live events.
• Incorporate graphics, animations, music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance video content.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and deliver video edits that meet brand and marketing requirements.
• Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and project delivery within deadlines.
• Stay current with video editing trends, software updates, and best practices for digital video production.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor , with a strong portfolio showcasing promotional and marketing video work.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, color correction, and sound mixing.
• Experience in the Arts & Entertainment field is highly advantageous for this remote role.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working within a remote team structure.
