About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Specialized Cleaning Technician with a focus on the food industry to join their operations in Polokwane. You will be responsible for deep cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, work areas, and high-risk zones using specialized techniques and approved chemicals. Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning and sanitation of food processing machinery, production lines, and associated equipment.
• Apply specialized cleaning chemicals and methods according to strict food safety protocols.
• Clean and sanitize walls, floors, ceilings, and other surfaces in production and storage areas.
• Follow detailed cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with HACCP and GMP standards.
• Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively in the Polokwane facility.
• Handle and dispose of waste materials, including potentially hazardous substances, according to regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial or specialized cleaning, with specific experience in the food industry highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of food safety regulations, including HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Proficiency in using various industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals relevant to food processing environments.
• Ability to work independently and follow precise instructions.
