About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and diligent Junior Geothermal Technician to join their operational team in George . You will be responsible for the hands-on installation, maintenance, and repair of geothermal heating and cooling systems. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of geothermal heat pump systems, including drilling and piping.
- Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on existing geothermal installations.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning geothermal equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct site surveys and provide technical support to clients regarding system operation.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in HVAC or a related technical field is a strong advantage.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Willingness to learn and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
