Remote Information Security Manager

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced and motivated Remote Information Security Manager to lead their global cybersecurity efforts. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing and executing the company's information security strategy, managing security risks, and ensuring compliance with international standards. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices, and a proven ability to manage security operations in a distributed environment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive global information security program.


• Oversee all aspects of cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management.


• Ensure compliance with relevant international data protection regulations and industry standards.


• Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of security professionals.


• Manage security budgets, vendor relationships, and security awareness programs.


• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master\’s degree preferred.


• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.


• Proven expertise in developing and executing cybersecurity strategies in a remote-first or globally distributed organization.


• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST), risk management, and compliance.


• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure), network security, and data privacy.


• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
