About the Role

Our client seeks a vibrant and organized Community Outreach Coordinator to enhance engagement with local residents in Pretoria . This role is central to building and maintaining strong relationships with community members, understanding their needs, and promoting the services offered by our client. You will be the face of the organization in various community settings, organizing events, disseminating information, and fostering a sense of collaboration. This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for community development and excellent networking skills, based in the heart of Gauteng .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage diverse community groups.
• Organize and coordinate community events, workshops, and information sessions.
• Build and maintain relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
• Identify community needs and provide feedback to the organization for service improvement.
• Distribute informational materials and promote awareness of available social services.
• Represent the organization at community fairs, meetings, and other public forums.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience in community outreach, engagement, or event management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the social landscape and resources within Pretoria .
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
