R 20 000 CTC Per Month

Our client in the mining industry is searching for a Creditors Clerk to join their operations in Middleburg on a temporary basis.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Certificate or Diploma from a recognised college or university
• 3 Years’ experience in credit control or creditors administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of ERP systems; Sage experience will be advantageous
• Good understanding of banking systems and financial reconciliations
• Valid drivers license plus own reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate capturing and payment within agreed terms
• Match purchase orders, invoices and goods received vouchers (GRVs) before payment
• Ensure the necessary approvals are obtained and invoices comply with VAT requirements
• Match and allocate payments to the correct supplier accounts
• Perform supplier, bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and payment queries
• Review outstanding invoices and follow up with suppliers regarding payments and queries
• Liaise with the Bookkeeper to ensure sufficient funds are available for payments
• Prepare accruals for invoices not received within the required timeframe
• Track transporter reconciliations and stock weighbridge information
• Maintain accurate supplier master files and verify banking details before payments
• Ensure transporters have valid tax clearance documentation
• Assist with supplier onboarding, credit applications and obtaining updated B-BBEE certificates
