AU PAIR
We are looking for a responsible, caring and experienced Au Pair to assist with the daily care, schoolwork and activities of two children.
The ideal candidate should be confident working with children in the primary and middle-school age range, particularly with homework, school projects and general academic support.
We are looking for someone who is mature, reliable, patient and able to provide structure, while still creating a fun and positive environment for the children.

We are looking for a responsible, caring and experienced Au Pair to assist with the daily care, schoolwork and activities of two children.
The ideal candidate should be confident working with children in the primary and middle-school age range, particularly with homework, school projects and general academic support.

Key Responsibilities
- Collect children from school and safely transport them to activities/home where required.
- Assist with homework, projects, studying and school assignments.
- Provide academic support appropriate for children aged 9 and 11, including English, Mathematics and general school subjects.
- Help the children prepare for tests, assessments and school projects.
- Ensure homework and school responsibilities are completed on time.
- Take the children to extracurricular activities, sports or other scheduled activities.
- Prepare simple snacks and meals for the children.
- Supervise the children after school and during agreed working hours.
- Encourage good routines around homework, activities, meals and personal responsibilities.
- Keep the children engaged through age-appropriate activities, games, reading and educational activities.
- Assist with school-related organisation, including bags, uniforms, books and school requirements.
- Communicate with parents regarding homework, school activities, behaviour and any concerns.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised environment for the children.
- Provide appropriate supervision and ensure the children's safety at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an Au Pair, Nanny, Tutor or similar childcare role.
- Experience working with children aged approximately 9–12 years.
- Strong academic ability and confidence assisting with middle-school level schoolwork.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong Mathematics and general academic skills.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Reliable vehicle for transporting the children, where required.
- Clean driving record preferred.
- First Aid certification will be advantageous.
- Non-smoker preferred.
- Contactable childcare references required.
Important
This role is more than basic childcare. The successful candidate must be comfortable supporting children with their schoolwork, homework, studying and projects, including work appropriate for an 11-year-old at middle-school level.
Candidates with a background in education, tutoring, teaching, psychology, childcare or similar fields will be advantageous.
