Salary: R15,000 – R17,000 per month, depending on experience. (includes housing)

The Opportunity

A premium luxury safari lodge and wellness destination in KwaZulu-Natal is looking for an experienced Senior Wellness & Spa Therapist to join its team.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about wellness, not simply someone who performs treatments. The ideal candidate embraces a wellness-focused lifestyle, takes pride in their profession and understands that exceptional guest experiences are at the heart of luxury hospitality.

This is an opportunity for a confident, personable and highly skilled therapist who enjoys connecting with guests, delivering personalised treatments and contributing to a premium wellness environment.

• National Diploma in Somatology or equivalent qualification (ITEC, CIDESCO or similar).
• Minimum 3–5 years' professional spa therapy experience.
• Strong practical experience in massage, body and beauty treatments.
• Experience in Reflexology and Aromatherapy.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Professional grooming and presentation standards.
• Genuine commitment to wellness, health and wellbeing.
• Ability to work independently and maintain exceptional treatment standards.
• Willingness to relocate and live on-site in KwaZulu-Natal.

Experience in luxury lodges, destination spas or premium wellness environments will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional spa and wellness treatments to luxury hospitality standards.
• Personalise treatments to suit individual guest needs and preferences.
• Create memorable guest experiences through genuine care and attention to detail.
• Maintain impeccable treatment room, hygiene and spa presentation standards.
• Provide professional wellness advice, aftercare and product recommendations.
• Support daily spa operations, guest coordination and stock management.
• Assist in mentoring junior therapists and maintaining consistent service standards.
• Stay informed about wellness trends, therapies and treatment techniques.
