Job Description
Responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring production activities to support the achievement of safe, efficient and planned mining production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production plans and schedules.
- Coordinate drilling, blasting, loading and hauling activities.
- Track production against planned targets.
- Identify production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with production and operational teams.
- Monitor production performance and prepare relevant reports.
- Support continuous improvement of production planning processes.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in opencast production planning.
- Experience in a mining production environment.
- Strong planning, coordination and reporting skills.
- Computer literacy and ability to work with production planning systems.
