Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or specialist qualification in Occupational Health
• NQF 8 (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)

Requirements

• Registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Medically fit to work in the specific business area
• Clear security screening record
• Valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

• Apply the principles of corporate governance and ethics in a function. Apply the principles of ethics to improve organisational culture. Apply basic business principles. Apply problem-solving techniques. Apply research techniques to analyse and interpret data.
• Understanding of the principles of Performance Management and the impact on the organisation. Ability to plan, develop and deliver presentations and reports for internal and external use. Apply the organisation's code of conduct in a work environment.
• Awareness of customer service and apply the skills of customer care in a specific work environment. Report writing skills. Facilitate and conduct meetings and workshops effectively to achieve organisational outcomes. Understanding of quality requirements for a Quality Management System. Ability to implement policies and processes. Understanding of the principles of Talent Management and the impact on the organisation.

Additional Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience as an Occupational Medical Practitioner, with a minimum of 2 years managerial experience
