Farm Foreman (Plaas Voorman)

Position Overview An established mixed-farming operation in the Free State is seeking an experienced, proactive, and reliable Farm Foreman (Plaas Voorman) with a strong mechanical background to oversee daily farm operations. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operational activities across the farm. Oversee cattle herd management and husbandry. Supervise the cultivation and irrigation of maize and planted pastures. Perform general maintenance, servicing, and upkeep of all farm machinery and equipment. Implement and oversee fire prevention and fire management strategies. Carry out other operational duties as required. Requirements & Experience Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in mixed farming operations handling the duties listed above. Strong, proven mechanical background and equipment maintenance skills. Demonstrated expertise in cattle management as well as irrigated crop production. Key Attributes High level of honesty and integrity. Neatness, orderliness, and strong organizational skills. Strong work ethic and dependable leadership abilities.
