CyberPro Consulting is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery across AI, data ingestion, and data warehousing initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams, removing delivery obstacles, and ensuring the successful execution of data and AI projects within an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, data engineering processes, and the complexities of delivering data-driven solutions within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Scrum Facilitation

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Support and coach Agile teams in applying Scrum principles and best practices.

Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritise backlogs and align sprint objectives with business requirements.

Track sprint progress, team velocity, delivery milestones, and dependencies.

Identify and remove impediments that may affect team performance or project delivery.

Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Facilitate Agile delivery for data ingestion initiatives, including batch and real-time data pipelines.

Coordinate activities across teams responsible for extracting, ingesting, validating, and transforming data from multiple sources.

Manage dependencies between data engineers, solution architects, business analysts, and other technical stakeholders.

Support delivery planning for data integration, data quality, and data pipeline enhancements.

Ensure visibility of delivery risks, technical dependencies, and bottlenecks affecting data ingestion processes.

Data Warehousing & Analytics

Facilitate delivery of data warehouse solutions and enhancements.

Coordinate sprint activities across teams working on data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, and data integration.

Support delivery planning for enterprise data platforms, reporting solutions, and analytics initiatives.

Ensure alignment between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders.

Monitor progress against delivery milestones and proactively address risks affecting data warehouse projects.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

Facilitate Agile delivery for AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics initiatives.

Coordinate collaboration between data scientists, AI engineers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.

Support sprint planning for data preparation, model development, testing, deployment, and integration activities.

Help teams manage dependencies associated with data availability, model validation, and AI solution implementation.

Promote transparency around delivery progress, technical challenges, and project risks.

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

Build effective working relationships with business stakeholders, Product Owners, technical teams, and project managers.

Communicate delivery progress, risks, issues, and dependencies clearly.

Maintain Agile delivery artefacts, including sprint boards, burndown charts, impediment logs, and retrospective actions.

Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and delivery teams where initiatives span multiple workstreams.

Ensure delivery remains aligned with agreed priorities, timelines, and quality expectations.

7+ years of experience in Agile delivery, Scrum Master, or related project delivery roles.

Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in complex technology environments.

Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and iterative software delivery.

Experience supporting data engineering, data ingestion, data warehousing, or data platform initiatives.

Exposure to AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or data science projects.

Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.

Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience managing dependencies, risks, impediments, and competing priorities.

Relevant Agile or Scrum certification, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or an equivalent qualification, would be advantageous.

Technical Environment

Experience or exposure to the following areas would be beneficial:

Agile: Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning, backlog management, and Agile delivery metrics.

Data Engineering: Data ingestion, ETL/ELT, data integration, data pipelines, and data quality.

Data Warehousing: Enterprise data warehouses, data modelling, data transformation, and analytical data platforms.

AI & Analytics: Artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, and data science workflows.

Delivery Tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools.

Cloud Data Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or similar platforms.

Excellent facilitation and communication skills.

Strong leadership and conflict-resolution abilities.

Ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

Proactive risk and dependency management.

Ability to translate complex technical delivery challenges into clear stakeholder updates.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced Scrum Master who understands both Agile delivery practices and the technical landscape of data-driven initiatives. They should be comfortable facilitating delivery across data ingestion, data warehousing, and AI workstreams while ensuring teams remain focused, collaborative, and aligned with business objectives.

Experience within the financial services or insurance industry would be advantageous.
