Remote Medical Writer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Remote Medical Writer to join their global medical affairs team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality scientific and medical content for a variety of purposes, including clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, manuscripts, and educational materials. You will collaborate closely with medical experts, researchers, and regulatory professionals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant guidelines. This is an ideal position for a talented writer who thrives in a remote work environment and is passionate about communicating complex medical information effectively and efficiently to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Author, edit, and finalize various medical documents, ensuring scientific accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and develop content for clinical study reports (CSRs), protocols, and investigator brochures.
• Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present scientific data at medical conferences.
• Develop and update regulatory submission documents, including briefing documents and responses to health authority queries.
• Ensure all medical writing deliverables meet Good Publication Practice (GPP) and other relevant ethical and regulatory standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and project plans.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, MSc) in a life science or healthcare-related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proven ability to translate complex scientific and clinical data into clear, concise, and accurate written content.
• Expertise in various therapeutic areas and a strong understanding of drug development processes.
• Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and publication guidelines (e.g., ICH, GPP).
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
