Vault Controller

Job Title: Vault Controller Location: Mafikeng Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Key Responsibilities: To supervise direct reports within the cash vault services. Responsible for maintaining customer vault balances in an accurate manner. Responsible for security and operations of the vaults including security. Essential Qualifications: Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or accounting Relevant tertiary education would be advantageous PSIRA Grade C and CIT Firearm competency with business purposes Experience: 2-4 year’s supervisory experience A minimum of 3 years’ cash/vault/CIT operations experience would be preferred Experience in handling large sums of cash and coin Basic mathematics and reconciliation experience Competencies Flexibility in terms of working hours will be required Ability to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to interact well Required to regularly lift and/move containers/cash coin trolleys with assistance Basic computer literacy Understanding the organizational environment Understanding the organization’s goals and objectives Dealing with changing circumstances Supporting and working with others Delivering objectives Dealing with complexity Acting professionally Delivering great customer service Sharing and co-operating Working Conditions: This role involves working within a secure environment, often in confined spaces. It may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of heavy objects.
