Social Inclusion Facilitator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and empathetic Social Inclusion Facilitator to join their team based in Randburg , Gauteng. This hybrid role focuses on empowering marginalized individuals and groups by fostering their inclusion in social, economic, and community life. You will design and deliver programs, provide individualized support, and advocate for the needs of vulnerable populations. This position requires a strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, combined with excellent facilitation and communication skills, to create meaningful opportunities for participation and belonging within the Randburg community and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies and programs to promote social inclusion for diverse groups.
• Facilitate workshops, group activities, and one-on-one support sessions to build confidence and skills.
• Identify barriers to inclusion and work collaboratively to find solutions and remove obstacles.
• Connect individuals with resources, opportunities, and networks that support their social and economic participation.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of marginalized individuals and groups.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Development, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience working with vulnerable or marginalized populations, promoting social inclusion.
• Strong knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software for planning, reporting, and communication.
