SUMMARY:
Our client based in Durban is looking for a Stores Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full control and supervision of the stores.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
-
General and financial control and supervision of all stores - including but not limited to receiving, tools & consumables
Gas bottle count and reconciliation
Stock planning and ordering
Timesheet management of all stores-related employees
Stores Cycle Counts / Stock Takes
Tools issue and receipt management
Requisition book control
Consignment stock count and reconciliation

REQUIREMENTS
8 – 10 years’ proven stores management experience
An engineering/steel manufacturing background will be an advantage
Computer literacy with intermediate to advanced excel skills is non-negotiable
A relevant qualification in warehouse management and/or supply chain management will be a distinct advantage.
Strategic thinking and leadership
Assertive and persuasive communicator with a strong grasp of business challenges.
