Job Title: Welder (Mig/Tig) Cutting Torch

Location: Boksburg

Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and reliable welder with experience in MIG welding, TIG welding and oxy-acetylene cutting torch operations. The successful candidate must be able to perform quality welding and cutting work while maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components.
• Operate an oxy-acetylene cutting torch safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and welding instructions.
• Prepare, cut, grind and fit metal components before welding.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain welding machines, tools and equipment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and organised.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in MIG and TIG welding.
• Experience operating an oxy-acetylene cutting torch.
• Ability to work with different metal types and thicknesses.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant welding qualifications or trade test will be an advantage.

Employment Details

Work Location: JHB - Eastern Suburbs, Gauteng
Hourly Rate: R45.00 per hour
Availability: Must be available to start as required.
Working Hours: As determined by the employer.
