Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Corporate Legal Advisor to join their esteemed legal team in Pretoria . This role is essential for providing expert legal guidance on a range of corporate and commercial matters, ensuring the company operates within legal boundaries and manages risks effectively. You will be involved in drafting complex agreements, advising on regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Advise on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial transactions. Draft, review, and negotiate high-value commercial contracts and agreements. Ensure compliance with South African corporate laws, regulations, and industry standards. Manage legal aspects of company secretarial duties, including board meetings and resolutions. Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to senior management and various business units. Oversee dispute resolution and manage relationships with external legal service providers. Requirements Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Strong expertise in corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory affairs. Demonstrated experience in handling complex M&A transactions and corporate restructuring. Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
