JUNIOR ELECTRICAL SALES TECHNICIAN - Wadeville (Germiston)

Are you a recently qualified Electrician or technically minded individual with an N6 Electrical or similar qualification looking to take your career in a new direction?

Our client, A well-established and highly respected Engineering concern and supplier of industrial electrical equipment and automation solutions, offers an exciting opportunity to develop a career in technical sales.

Representing leading international brands, the company supplies quality electrical products and specialised solutions to the industrial, manufacturing, automation and engineering sectors.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving technical problems and applying their electrical knowledge in a customer-focused environment. Training will be provided in a structured environment, to ensure growth and product knowledge.

Duties will include:

Developing and maintaining relationships with industrial clients, electrical contractors and maintenance departments.
Advising customers on electrical products, applications and suitable technical solutions.
Promoting and selling industrial electrical equipment, enclosures, distribution and motor-control products.
Conducting client visits and identifying new business opportunities.
Preparing quotations and following up on customer enquiries.
Providing product information and technical support.
Working closely with internal technical and sales teams.

Requirements:

National Electrical Engineering certificate, qualified Electrician or relevant electrical technical qualification.
Sound understanding of electrical equipment and industrial applications.
Practical electrical experience will be advantageous.
Previous technical sales experience will be beneficial but is not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused, self-motivated and eager to learn.
Valid driver's licence.
Willingness to travel locally to visit customers.
