Truck Sales Manager (Commercial Vehicles)

Our client in the Automotive Industry is seeking to employ an experienced Truck Sales Manager (Commercial Vehicles) to join their dynamic team based in Isando, Johannesburg.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Relevant degree / diploma in Sales and Marketing or Business Management.
• 5 years’ experience in similar sales management role.
• Experience with high volumes (Commercial Vehicles)
• Ability to cold call, and look for business.
• Experience in SAP system.
• Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
• Experience in customer relationship management.
• Experience managing and directing a sales team.
• Confident and proactive approach-anticipate issues
  and requirements.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and write in English.
• Code 8 licence with own vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
• Meeting planned sales goals.
• Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
• Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
• Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
• Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
• The ongoing training of your salespeople.
• Developing your sales team through motivation, counselling, and product knowledge education
• Promoting the organization and products.
• Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Any other reasonable and lawful duties required by Dealer Principal from time to time.
